Ingredients

2 ½ cups filtered water

1 teaspoon dried Hibiscus flowers

½ teaspoon Ginger powder

Preparation

Place the flowers and spices in a container with a tight fitting lid like a Mason jar

Bring the water to a boil

Pour the boiling water over the herbs and spices and cover the container

Let the flowers and spices steep for 10 minutes

Strain the flowers and spices with a sieve or coffee filter

Serve the tea hot in mugs

Sweeten with honey (optional)

1. Never use aluminum vessels to prepare herbal teas. Use stainless steel or glass items.
